We can generally split the Chao systems up into two types - The Dreamcast games use the ‘ Dreamcast Engine’, and non-Dreamcast ( Modern) games, use the ‘ Gamecube Engine’. ![]() Since then, bother Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 have been released, ported, and rebranded multiple times over many different formats. Chao have been present in the Sonic Adventure games since 1998 (Japan) on the Sega Dreamcast.
